Don't Kill the Bee!

This evening after dinner Will decided he was gonna wash the cars. Of course, Jaden loves to help with this chore! He's daddy's #1 helper. Easton and I decided to join them outside to pass the time away. Don't ask me why since it was killer hot outside? But we kept cool by misting ourselves with the hose every now and then. Well, as we were sitting there a bee was buzzing around. It came and landed on Will's car and decided to crawl into a crack in the trunk. Jaden went and popped the trunk so he could get a better look at what the bee was doing. Pretty soon the bee flew out and came and landed by my foot. I said I was gonna smash it and kill it. Jaden was horrified which surprised me because he's not super fond of bugs and such. But, he said to me "DON'T KILL HIM, he has a famiwee (family)!" OMG....how cute was that????? I'm not quite sure where he learned that, but he pretty much knows the concept that everyone has a family I guess whether you're a bee or a person. Jaden then explained to me that the bee has a daddy and a baby bee. So, I reassured him that I wouldn't kill the bee or he would've been pretty sad I think. Just had to share one of those things that our toddlers say that remind us how precious they really are. We especially need to remember these moments when they seem to have more naughty moments than the precious ones!

That is so sweet! I love the things my kids say when they're little. I started emailing my family years ago whenever Tay or Boo would say something funny, and my sister has typed them all up and put them in a scrapbook for me to have (since I don't scrapbook). She's just finishing it and I am so excited!! You definitely need to write them down. But I guess you just did, didn't you! That's what I love about blogs!

That is the cutes thing! This month the theme at church has been all about families. Caden has been talking about his "family" alot lately. Maybe they are doing the same thing in nursery.

Anyway...what a cute little memory!
