Boring ole Sundays
Last night we decided that we would ditch out on our ward todayand go to our old ward Lehi 2nd just because we miss it so much!!! This past week we were in the "old" neighborhood a couple of times and it really made us miss Lehi 2nd ward, a lot! Don't get me wrong, we really do like our new ward and the cool friends we've met there. But Lehi 2nd ward is truly just "one of a kind"!!! So in less than an hour we'll be heading off to church, and the one sacrifice we did make in order to attend Lehi 2nd was skipping out on our Sunday nap!!! If you ask me...that's a BIG sacrifice. Oh well, I'm sure we'll be glad to see our old ward friends. Oh, AND we'll have Sister Heywood to "babysit" Jaden for us all through sacrament meeting! BIG PLUS! She loves him and he loves her! She used to bring books, snacks, candy and activities JUST for Jaden! You see, her youngest is 13 and her husband was our bishop so what else did she have to do during sacrament??? lol Gosh, now I'm getting excited to go! So...off to getting ready!

Have fun in Lehi! Jeff just laughs everytime we visit one of the wards down there, guess he can't appreciate the jeans and boots that most wear!

We visited our old ward a couple times after we moved, too. It's nice to go back. We have a guy in this ward that wears jeans, too. Wonder if he's from Lehi??
i love it when people play with my kids during sacrament meeting! one of our good friends used to let joel lay his head in her lap and he'd hold his arm up to her, which means "tickle my arm, please." she just had a baby a couple of weeks ago, though, so we'll have to find someone else to entertain him. :)
So we aren't good enough for you, eh! J/K. I have always wanted to go back to my old ward, but have never done it. Now it has been so long I probably won't know anyone in it. I hope you guys had a fun time.
By the way...we found Jaden's hat, and also a non-working cell phone. Is that yours too?
