4 Months Old

I'm not sure where the time has gone, Madysen is now 4 months old!
I took her to the doctor today for her well-check. She got 2 shots and didn't even cry for the first one. What a good girl! She's our healthy and happy chunky girl!

4 months
19lb 7 oz (off the charts)
26 inches (95th %)

I think she has Jaden beat as our biggest baby to this point!
We sure love our sweet chubby baby...thunder thighs and all!

Great Nephews

My niece Kamry had her identical twin boys on January 2, 2009....Nixxen and Madexx. These pics were taken last night so the twins are just shy of 3 week old, and Mady just turned 4 months old today.....check out the difference in size!!! Lol. Of course they are super tiny (4+ lbs) and Mady is super chunk! (she has her 4 month check up tomorrow so we will find out how much weighs then). Aren't they cute?! They look just like their big brother Jaxxen! Kamry has her hands full with 3 boys under the age of 2! But she is doing a fabulous job already! Now I'm a great-aunt 3 times over! Whoa.

(Kamry had just realized last night when she was holding Madexx that his pants were on backwards! I thought it was funny.)

Monster Madness

Some of you may know about Easton's infatuation with MONSTER TRUCKS. Everywhere he goes he has at least one of his toy MONSTER TRUCKS in his hands. He drags them everywhere and makes tracks out of everything. His favorite of course is "Digga" or Grave Digger. He is always asking me to youtube monster trucks. He will sit for hours watching 2 minute clips of MONSTER TRUCKS crashing and jumping and racing.

Even as I am posting this he is watching MONSTER TRUCK racing that we had recorded on the DVR. He is glued, and fascinated, and concerned when there's a crash and excited when someone gets big air. He is CRAZY NUTS about MONSTER TRUCKS.

He has no idea, but Will got MONSTER JAM tickets for the family for this coming Saturday at Chase Field. Tickets were actually pretty reasonable, and they came with pit passes so that we could all go down to the track before the races and go right up to the trucks! We are excited just to see Easton go crazy when he realizes where he is at. Easton is going to GO C-R-A-Z-Y. We will have video and pics and you will see just how crazy the kid is about MONSTER TRUCKS. It's gonna be fun.

Don't worry...He's Ok

You're looking at a very lucky guy! He's a bit bruised and battered, but he is alive. We're counting our blessings at our house.
Last night after Will got off work he headed for his bus stop on his new bicycle (thanks Ryan!). He was on a busy major Tempe road. In case you didn't know, Tempe does not have bicycle lanes so he was on the sidewalk. Unfortunately, he was just a bit up the road from his office and still riding opposite of traffic. That's when an oncoming car missed seeing him heading northbound while the driver was making a right turn southbound. Bam! Will got hit by the car and thrown off his bike onto Rural road. He landed on his face first. Luckily, there wasn't any oncoming traffic at the moment the accident happened and he was able to bounce back up. Both Will and the driver were pretty shaken up. Will had some blood from some open wounds from road rash on his forearms and his new fat lip and bruised nose. He was VERY fortunate to walk away with somewhat minor injuries! It could have been A LOT worse! And for that we are thanking our lucky stars.
(we thought the bike came away unscathed, but it looks like Will is going to have to fix his rear brake before he can ride again....which is still pretty fortunate considering)
Looks like we all might need to be a little extra nice to Will these days ;)
