The joys of pregnancy

.....NOT!!!
Please bare with me as I probably won't be posting a whole lot these days as I can't seem to do a thing due to morning sickness!
I've always gotten nausea and felt generally yucky with my other 3 pregnancies which passes pretty quickly. But for some reason, this pregnancy seems to be worse. In the last week morning sickness has hit hard. I can't seem to function. I couldn't imagine what my sisters-in-law Jenny and Robyn go through with their pregnancies for the WHOLE 9 months! I just pray that this passes soon! I feel like crud pretty much all day. Last night I finally spent some time with the porcelain god. For those that know me, I HATE HATE HATE to throw up so I'll keep it in and continue to feel gross rather than throw up. Jenny assured me that throwing up still won't make me feel better. And she was pretty much right. It relieved me for the moment.
The thought of food, the sight of food or the mention of food makes me ill. Smells, well let's just say smells are NOT my friend. I smell EVERYTHING. Oh please pray this passes soon!
On the other hand, I am soooooooo thankful for my husband!!!! He rocks! Last night he got the kids dinner as I couldn't even think about food. He cleaned up the mess and did the dishes. Got the boys bathed and ready for bed. Washed the kitchen floor which was in need. Graded papers for me which I normally do to help out Mariah's teacher. All while I laid in bed.
Thank you Will! You're the best. I love you!

Oh Mel...that sucks. I hope that you start to feel better soon. Maybe with you being so sick it means you are having a girl...hee hee...we can only hope, right!?

I feel your pain!! I hope you feel better soon. You are so lucky to have Will. I'm gradually feeling better, but it's not like before when I hit 12 weeks and felt better. Stuff still makes me want to throw-up. I have been using the tv as a babysitter a lot these past few months. Hopefully you will not be sick for much longer.

I remember asking my sister, Does this ever go away? Hopefully it will. I guess each pregnancy is so very different though. I agree with the throwing up. It feels better for a few brief moments, and then returns.

Oh that is the worst! I had it for 8 months with Connor. Taylor learned what the word "nauseous" meant. I couldn't even look at the grocery store or I would get ill. And forget about planning ahead for dinner. I could only eat what I was craving at that minute. Which helped me to only gain 20 pounds while I was prego. Unfortunately that 20 pounds is still hanging on....

oh that stinks so bad that you are feeling so crappy! I hope it passes quickly for you! You are not alone know that at least! What an awesome husband you have! I learned 2 pregnancies ago that throwing up in the kitchen sink on the deposal side is SO much nicer than getting low and sticking my face in the toilet. Just a suggestion. Just ask Kim, she prefers the sink now too.

Amen to the kitchen sink. The toilet just makes it last longer. Hope things get better soon and well if we want something that sounds good we should get it together. Katie you can come too and whoever else is pregnant.
