What Are We Going to Do With This Child!?!

Many of you probably remember in October of last year Easton busted his head open and had to have it stapled shut. Well, we're doing a REPEAT!!! Yes, these pictures are not duplicates from a year ago. Apparently, Easton's visit to the ER last month to have his chin closed wasn't enough. Do we just get him a helmet and body armor now??!!?? lol

Last night Shelly and her family were over and we were playing Pictureka (so fun). Easton had been into my eyeliner and drew all over his face, so we took it away and locked the bathroom so he couldn't get into it anymore. He was NOT happy. He threw a fit/tantrum for a good 20 minutes. We continued to play our game and ignore him. He had JUST settled down when we finished the game and went to sit down on the chair next to me when he lost his balance and fell backwards.....smack, onto the tile, head first!!!! Ugh, I still hear the sound of his head hitting the tile in my head! Poor guy. I just knew when I heard the thump that he busted it open again. Luckily, Kamry, Shelly and Tyler were here and immediately took over with our other three kiddos while we took Easton to the ER. Great timing Easton!
On our way, we thought of the new Phoenix Children's Urgent Care and decided to take him there instead. They got 2 thumbs up from us! Great place! Just after we got there and had to sit for awhile in the waiting area, Easton was literally bouncing and jumping off their chairs!!! OMG, what are we going to do with this child???? When we got back to see the doctor she had never seen anything like it. His scar from last year had actually expanded and was stretched to capacity and he had busted open a new scar just above the old one. She ended up stapling across the old scar too so that the scar would be minimal. He was pretty pissed that there were three of us holding him still, but in all he was a tough trooper....like always! Boys! *sigh*

Oh man! I have been so lucky (SO FAR) with Caden. I am such a wimp when it comes to blood...that has got to be so scary. What a tough kid he is! Definitely ALL BOY! Hopefully that means you guys are in the clear for any more ER trips anytime soon.
